Services for Mrs. Dammie Gowdy of 1596 Dallas were held at --- a.m. Saturday at Memphis
Funeral Home. Burial was in (Forest?) Hill. Mrs. Gowdy died at 4-- Thursday at
Neff-Key Nursing Home at 1986 Lamar, after an illness of two years. She was 71.
She was born in D---, Miss., and lived in Memphis since 1940 with her daughter Mrs. Floyd Wilson. She was a member of (the) Temple Baptist church.
She also leaves three ------ Winston Gowdy of 757---, Frank Gowdy of German---, and Willard Gowdy of -----ville, Miss., a brother Guy----michael of 909 Meagher; two daughters, Mrs. Dora Difflie Orchi and Mrs. Laura W. ------Ripley, Miss., and five grand children.
