ROBERT GOUDY, JR. - May 4, 1995
Robert B. Goudy, Jr., 80, of Blue Mountain died Friday, April 28, 1995, 2:20
p.m., at Baptist Hospital-Union County in New Albany. He was a member of Blue
Mountain Church of the Lord Jesus Christ where he served as a member of the Board of
Trustees, and owner and operator of Southern Truck Stop.
Services were held Sunday, April 30, 1995, 3 p.m. at Blue Mountain Church of the Lord Jesus Christ with Bro. Joe McKnight, Bro. Gene Smith, and Rev. J. L. Pipkin officiating. Burial was in Tippah Memorial Garden with McBride Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Ella C. Goudy, Blue Mountain; one son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Johnnie Goudy, Blue Mountain; one daughter and son-in-law, Rose Mary and Raymond Gadd, Bartlett, Tenn.; one brother, Ernest Goudy, West Point, Miss.; two grandchildren, Maury Goudy and Shauna Henry.
Pallbearers were James M. Bennett, Joe Bennett, Jimmy Windham, Kevin Hall, James Cagle, and Jimmy Pipkin.
Honorary pallbearers were Ray Crawford, Roger McAlister, John Fuller, David Bennett, and Ozane Medlin.
