MRS. N. S. GOUDY
Mrs. N. S. Goudy, age 88, passed away at the home of her daughter on Tuesday
morning of this week. She made her home with Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Jernigan, who live
east of Blue Mountain. She was one of the oldest persons in the county, and was a
splendid Christian woman, loved and respected by all who knew her.
The funeral and burial was on Wednesday afternoon, Dr. J. E. Buchanan, having charge of the funeral service. The funeral was at the home, followed by burial in the Blue Mountain cemetery.
Mrs. Goudy is survived by a son, Bruce Goudy and a daughter, Mr. J. G. Jernigan; also by one brother, Sam Owens, of New Albany. Their many friends deeply sympathize with the family in the loss of their loved one.
